Protective Clothing
Selecting appropriate clothing for the workplace is one of the most demanding aspects of any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) progamme, given the variety of factors to be taken into consideration, such as physical hazards, climatic and environmental conditions, ergonomics, wearer acceptance and corporate image.
The selected clothing must be of a type and in a condition which will not expose the worker to unnecessary or unavoidable hazards. It must afford maximum protection as well as optimal comfort. Employers are required to ensure that appropriate clothing is available to workers, that it is properly worn when required, and is adequately cleaned, inspected, maintained and stored.
In our Clothing catalogue, we have detailed a cross section of the products which represent those most commonly used in industry today, from rainwear to suits for handling hazardous materials.
Also included is detailed information on the relevant product standards to assist you with the selection process.
